Excuse my French
Location: Ranelagh, Dublin 6
Project scope: Interior Design & Custom Artwork
I had the pleasureof designing the interior and custom posters for Excuse my French, a French-inspired restaurant in Dublin. The goal was to create an inviting space where French culinary traditions meet Dublin’s modern dining experience.
For the interior, I focused on a warm, authentic ambiance with elements that reflect classic French bistros - wooden textures, soft lighting, and curated décor to evoke a cozy yet modern feel.
I also designed a series of custom posters, incorporating hand-drawn typogaphy and illustrations that celebrate French culture and cuisine. These pieces add character to the space while reinforcing the brand identity.
This project was a blend of aesthetic and storytelling, ensuring that every visual element complemented the restaurant’s theme and dining experience.
